My name is Vivi and this is my Pokémon sheep collection page! I have been collecting Mareep in my spare time since late 2016 and I started side collecting Wooloo in 2019.

Hours of work and research go into making my collection come to life so I hope you enjoy your time here! Feel free to use my collection photos and information for your own use, such as in a Wants post. I always appreciate knowing that people enjoy looking at all the merchandise that I have collected so far!

So where do I get all this stuff? A lot of the Pokémon merchandise was only released and sold in Japan. I use a variety of market websites:

- eBay, a worldwide sale service

- Amazon, another worldwide sale service

- Buyee, a middleman that allows easy Yahoo! Japan purchases,

- WakuWakuMono, a middleman for Japan purchases from Mercari

- A LiveJournal community called PKMNCollectors,

- Several Facebook Pokémon collector groups,

All of my information is researched via internet browsers or sourced from Bulbapedia / Pokémon Collector Wiki. Some of my information also comes from other fellow collectors. I try my hardest to date all the merchandise, however, with some lacking information it can be hard to date uncommon items.

So why Mareep? Well... Mareep is my favourite Pokémon, and I just adore the design and personality of the little blue sheep. Not only that, but the Pokémon stands out to me with its design and origin. The name Mareep is a play on words with Mary and Sheep, a reference the the timeless nursery rhyme "Mary Had a Little Lamb". Not only that, but Mareep is an anagram of the word "ampere". The name alone works on more than one level!

Not to mention how the typing of the Pokémon; being electric; comes from the book title "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" (more commonly known as "Blade Runner" after being renamed) written by Philip K. Dick.
And why Wooloo? Wooloo is another sheep Pokémon and my favourite of the Galar region!
